DU LLB Entrance Exam 2023 : Exam Date, Eligibility, Syllabus, Pattern, Admit Card & Result

DU LLB Exam is a national-level entrance exam that will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) tentatively in July. NTA conducts the DU LLB 2023 exam for admission to the 3-years of LLB courses at its three campuses- Law Centre I, Law Centre II, and Campus Law Centre. The exam will be held in online mode.
The exam is organized once a year at the national level. The application form may commence from the month of May. Candidates may read the whole article for complete details regarding the DU LLB 2023 Exam.

DU LLB Exam 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria of DU LLB Exam 2023 are the set of norms in terms of age, educational qualification which the candidates will have to fulfil to be eligible for the recruitment process.
Candidates who do not meet the eligibility criteria will be rejected from the recruitment process, has been given below.

Qualifying marks General - 50%

Minimum age requirement Candidates should not be younger than 20 years

DU LLB Exam 2023 Educational Qualification

 
  • Candidates must be Graduates/Post Graduates from any university recognized by UGC with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
  • Candidates of the OBC/CW/PwD category and SC/ST category must have scored at least 45% and 40% marks respectively
  • Aspirants should have passed their graduation with a minimum of 50% marks. In the case of reserved category candidates, there is a relaxation of 5% in qualifying marks.
  • Any candidate who is already pursuing law from any university including DU will not be considered for the admission process unless they cancel their existing program.
  • There is no maximum no. of attempts, you can apply for DU LLB as many times as you can.
  • There is no restriction on the number of times the candidates can attempt the exam

English and comprehension:
  • Comprehension passage and questions
  • Synonyms, and antonyms

General Knowledge and Current Affairs:
  • Events that became popular in the national and international arena.
  • Static GK and Current Affairs on topics such as History, geography, basic science, awards, sports, books and authors, economics.
  • Reasoning and Analytical Ability: Coding, and decoding, and basic math such as percentage, profit and loss, algebra, number system, and similar topics.
Legal Aptitude:
  • Indian legal system, the legislature of the nation, a constitution including fundamental rights and duties, the functioning of judiciary and more.

DU LLB 2023 Counselling

  • Candidates will be invited to participate in the DU LLB 2023 counselling if they get more than the cutoff marks.
  • The applicants must select the college to which they are applying during the counselling process.
  • The candidates who have been chosen for counselling must also have their paperwork validated.
  • Only after the announcement of the results will the precise counselling schedule be made public.

DU LLB 2023 Admit Card

  • Delhi University will release the DU LLB 2023 admit card well in advance of the test.
  • The official website must be visited by candidates in order to download their admission cards.
  • Please be aware that the university will not mail out any admissions cards.
  • The admit card will include information regarding the time and location of the exam.
  • At the examination centre, a hard copy of the downloaded admission card is required.
