CLAT 2020 Exam Dates - Upcoming Events, Latest Pattern and Result Date

The CLAT 2020 Exam dates have been confirmed by the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs). The paper will take place on 10 May 2020. Full details will be provided in the official notification, which is due for release by the end of December 2019.

Candidates aspiring to join one of India's popular law universities will appear for the CLAT exam. The CLAT 2020 registration process will start from 1 January 2020. Admit card is expected to release by the third week of April.

CLAT 2020 Exam Pattern (Latest Pattern)

Following the discussion at the Permanent Secretariat of the Consortium, major changes to CLAT 2020 have been introduced. Earlier the CLAT paper consists of 200 questions that need to be attempted in 120 minutes. However, from this year onwards, the number of questions is expected to decrease. Below are the changes will be seen in this year's examination.

Exam Mode: The paper will be in offline mode.
Duration: The total time to complete the examination will be 2 hours (120 minutes).
Type of Questions: The questions will be of multiple choices.
Total Questions: This year there will be about 120-150 questions, as opposed to 200 questions in previous years

Note: Comprehension based questions will be asked from Quantitative Aptitude, English Language, Current Affairs, and Logical Reasoning.

CLAT 2020 Result Date

The CLAT 2020 result will likely to be announced by the third week of June 2020.
The answer keys will be published in the first week of June 2020 before the results are announced.
Candidates must visit the official website to check the results.
To download the result and scorecard, the candidate has to enter the issued CLAT registration number and password.
Candidates who qualify for CLAT will be called to CLAT Counselling.
