Frequently Asked Questions

Common Law Admission Test (CLAT 2020) is expected to take place on May 8, 2020.

NUSRL, Ranchi will conduct the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT 2020).

National Law Schools / Institutes that will participate on CLAT 2020 according to their year of establishment shall be:

  1. National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore, 2008
  2. NALSAR University of Law (NALSAR), Hyderabad, 2008
  3. The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (WBNUJS), Kolkata, 2008
  4. The National Law Institute University (NLIU), Bhopal, 2008
  5. National Law University (NLU), Jodhpur, 2008
  6. Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU), Raipur, 2008
  7. Gujarat National Law University (GNLU), Gandhinagar, 2008
  8. Dr. Ram ManoharLohiya National Law University (RMLNLU), Lucknow, 2009

The eligibility criteria's for for appearing in CLAT 2020 are as follows:-

  1. Passed 10 + 2 or equivalent examination with at least:
     
    • 45% marks for General/OBC/SAP (Specially Abled Persons) candidates.
    • 40% marks for SC/ST candidates.

  2. Candidates appearing in the board examination in April/May 2020 are also eligible to appear in the CLAT 2020 examination. However, candidates are required to provide proof of their passing of the board examination at the time of admission, if not they shall lose their right to be considered for admission.

  3. There is no upper age limit for appearing in CLAT- 2020

 

CLAT 2020 notification will be issued in December 2019.

The CLAT 2020 Information Brochure will be available on CLAT website (www.clat.ac.in) from January 2020 onwards.

Thee fee for CLAT 2020 Application Forun shall be:-
 

  1. For General/OBC/PWD and other category candidates 4000 (INR
  2. For SC/ST category candidates 3500 (INR
