Eligibility Criteria for the DU LLB Program:
Qualification: All candidates require a Graduate/Post-Graduate Degree from the University of Delhi or any other Indian or Foreign University recognized as equivalent by the University of Delhi
- General category candidates need to have scored at least 50% marks or an equivalent grade point in this Degree
- The cut off marks in the Entrance Test for OBC candidates will be upto 10% less than the cutoff for General candidates
- Relaxation of 5% marks in the minimum eligibility prescribed for General candidates will be allowed to OBC, CW and PH categories
Age: As per the notification of Bar Council of India (BCI), candidates' age for DU LLB Entrance Exam should be between 20 to 30 years for three-year LLB programmes. The SC, ST and OBC candidates are to be given a relaxation of five years on the upper age limit.
Note: In 2017, Supreme Court of India has stayed the decision of BCI of limiting the upper age limit. Thus, LLB aspirants of any age group can start applying for DU LLB 2019.
